Kind of Angry

"They try to make us invisible when they stick our clothing in the back corner of the department store, or when we are delegated to one-stop shopping in a storm of bedazzled house coats (not that I mind a little sequins)."

I think most of you already read the guest post by Amelia at Young, Fat & Fabulous. I was amazed! It is so powerful and on the point!

"They try to make us invisible when they stick our clothing in the back corner of the department store, or when we are delegated to one-stop shopping in a storm of bedazzled house coats (not that I mind a little sequins)."

Exactly this has happend to me today. I felt the desire to take a shot peek into some shops and do a bit of shopping. I went to H&M first. That was okay. In the Big is Beautiful division they had some nice jeans, a cute jeans shirt and tops with sequins. But there wasn't a sign of spring and fashion! I just bought a black T-Shirt cause I want to do a print on it. After that I went to C&A and Ulla Popken. Maybe cause I wanted to do some real shopping again and not only odering online, I took some things to the dressing room. Sad Story.
I thought about spending 25 euros an a blouse, just because it was the pretties thing between a whole bunch of shit! In this moment I remembered what I had read in Amelias Post. We don't want to be pulled in one corner any longer by the fashion machine, just because they decided that over a Eu Size 44 you just can wear tent with psychedelic patterns. Wide Trousers and skirts that go under you knee!
I ended up buying blacks tights at Ulla Popken cause I wanted to see how they fit. Besides the tights and some nice lingerie there wasn't anything! ANYTHING!!! I ask if they would get skirts. And she said to me "We have a very modern nice jeans skirt."
It was long, it was in a greenish denim tone and had fringe on its bottom. If I could decide it, I would forbid a skirt like this. But is what they call "style for thick woman" here.
