London 2013: The Brand Day.

This Post was written on monday, while I was sill in London.

I am sitting at a Starbucks on Oxford Street, drinking the famous Pumpking Spice Lettee for the first and and writing in y notebook. Acting like a prober Hipster? Check!
To be honst, my mobile needed to be recharged and since I hoped Starbucks would provide an option to plug it in, I though why not sit down and use the time to write down my still fresh impressions of the first  day of Plus London Three.

The last days have been amazing and expensive. Plus London really was a blast. I think I was smiling the whole day, made a prober joke of myself and meet so many lovely people.  On Saturday morning me and Katie got ready and went down to Liverpool Station to meet some other girls and head towards Hoxton Arch. The venue was my just after my taste and when we arrived we got a heart warming welcome from Clair and Lauren. The venue was filled with stalls of different brands like Simple Be, Curvy Kate, Black Heart Creatives or Carmakoma. I met all the organizers, lovely and inspiring ladys, and got a little starstruck when Bethany gave me a welcome hug.  The first thing I did was a bra fitting with Curvy Kate. I always thought their bras wouldn’t fit me, but apparently I always brought a wrong size. I need a lot smaller size in the band, but a bigger cup. I to think I will order from them and try a bra in the size they told me, cause I really liked how it felt.

I chatted with so many people, Michelle from The Red Bows Boutique is such a cutie and I bought a lovely, silver glittery blouse from her. Her wife, Sophie, who I got to know in the evening, told me such a sweet story about her grandma, who comes from my hometown Bielefeld. She met her husband after the war and learned english to write love letters, till she finally morried him and moved tot he UK. At the Black Heart Creatives stall I bought a pink „Cake Queen“ necklace from Charlotte, I am already thinking about buying a „Fat Bitch“ one too.

Every brand had a talk about their business, and Simply Be showed us some of their inspiration for the Spring and Summer Collection in 2014. I got a lovely  Pin-Up Make from Lilly, in the pamper Box, had a great talk with the girls from Simply Be (They are working on a project for finally making one side for all!!) and was dawn by, the illustration is so good and and liked the idea of getting a drawing of myself.  I do think I look a bit like a cat princess, the way drew me. I finally got to meet Rikke, from Sticky Sweet Danish, who was a total babe. She took some outfit pictures for me, before I got my make up done. After that I had a slot for taking pictures with Blast Photography, they came out so awesome, I love all the pictures they did, cause they make me look so real and happy, and not overly photoshopped or something to make up look smaller or different.

In the Evening Katie and I went to buy some Wodka and Cider and helped the other girls to set up the party. Unfortunately not as many people as hoped showed up for the dancing. Bethany was DJing and the music was awesome, we danced a lot, I drank a lot and all in all it was a lovely evening. We had dance offs and blubbles, I was on the floor laughing cause Katie tried to pass me a cookie and I failed grabbing it. I spilled perfume oil all over my blouse and look like a mess on every picture.  I also made a fool of myself telling everyone how much a adored them and their style and that I loved them so much. Summed up, a typical Satruday night, just filled with fat babes and London.

The funniest thing of the evening was the Blast Photo Booth that was filled with all kind of probs. We did so many silly pictures with hats and glasses, mustached and angle wings and it got really dirty when Siahn (I might have a little crush...) got out the whip.
Katie and I walked home, I tripped and had an „epic fall“ to say it with her words. She was scared I just dropped dead cause I fell flat on my face, but it was just my weak ankle. We ended the evening with cheeseburgers and tea at home and a cuddle with „Walter Katze“ and I probably fell a sleep with a smile on my face.
