Kind of Angry

"They try to make us invisible when they stick our clothing in the back corner of the department store, or when we are delegated to one-stop shopping in a storm of bedazzled house coats (not that I mind a little sequins)."

I think most of you already read the guest post by Amelia at Young, Fat & Fabulous. I was amazed! It is so powerful and on the point!

"They try to make us invisible when they stick our clothing in the back corner of the department store, or when we are delegated to one-stop shopping in a storm of bedazzled house coats (not that I mind a little sequins)."

Exactly this has happend to me today. I felt the desire to take a shot peek into some shops and do a bit of shopping. I went to H&M first. That was okay. In the Big is Beautiful division they had some nice jeans, a cute jeans shirt and tops with sequins. But there wasn't a sign of spring and fashion! I just bought a black T-Shirt cause I want to do a print on it. After that I went to C&A and Ulla Popken. Maybe cause I wanted to do some real shopping again and not only odering online, I took some things to the dressing room. Sad Story.
I thought about spending 25 euros an a blouse, just because it was the pretties thing between a whole bunch of shit! In this moment I remembered what I had read in Amelias Post. We don't want to be pulled in one corner any longer by the fashion machine, just because they decided that over a Eu Size 44 you just can wear tent with psychedelic patterns. Wide Trousers and skirts that go under you knee!
I ended up buying blacks tights at Ulla Popken cause I wanted to see how they fit. Besides the tights and some nice lingerie there wasn't anything! ANYTHING!!! I ask if they would get skirts. And she said to me "We have a very modern nice jeans skirt."
It was long, it was in a greenish denim tone and had fringe on its bottom. If I could decide it, I would forbid a skirt like this. But is what they call "style for thick woman" here.

Pull it up.

I bought this dress for a 9er at an Evans sale. I actually like it, it fits very well, but I wear a T-shirt under it cause it's sleeveless. And: I thought it was a few centimeters to long, just on the border between good and "workwear like" so I pulled it up with two safety pins and tada: satisfied me! Going with two pink necklaces (I didn't noticed that I moved one of them and put it on the table before taking the first picture oO)
For going to university I wore a long cardigan above it, cause its kind of fresh here!

Thank you / Rock'n Roll

At first I wanted to say thank you for all your lovely comments I got since I started this in August last year. I am so proud to say that I have got at least 18 followers here, which maybe isn't a lot but means the world to me. A big big big hug and thank you so much to Lodi for tagging me with the “Best Blog Award” ^_______^ makes me soo happy.
new_award_thumb.jpg

So it says that I should give it along to 6 other bloggers. And I choose:
An Olive a Day , just found it a few days ago but fell in love immediately / ich hab diesen (ja ich weiß es heißt eigentlich dieses) blog erst vor ein paar Tagen gefunden und mich gleich verliebt.
Black Crushing Sea, cause I am always so happy to see german fat bloggers / weil ich mich immer so über Deutsche dicke Blogger freue.
One Fabulous Thing After Another, cause I luuuve her hair / weil ich ihre Haare liebe.

I retag Fat and Foxy, to thank you, and because I love your blog. And one for everyone that just feels like tagging blogs she (or he) loves.
Since I grew out of my „punk-rock-days“ at the age of 13-15 and then survived my omfg-I-want-to-be-so-fucking-emo-days till I was about 18 (actually I am still in both |D) I felt inspired by the good old pin-up girl look and the fresh new interpretation of it called: rockabilly. But for a long time my universe was full of thin, flawless girls like: Kat von D, Dita von These, Sabina Kelley, Audrey Kitching & all the beautiful bombshells at suicide girl. Of cause they are all adorable and pretty and still inspiring, but non of them was someone I could identify myself with. At the moment it's like I am more and more stumbling about drop dead gorgeous plus sized pin-up girls. Which totally blows my mind and so inspiring to me. Cause tattoos, piercings, perfect red or pink lips, retro 60 chic or trashy punkrock-like style is just what I want to live.
About two years ago I though for the first time of getting tattooed (not really for the first time, but for the first time really, really serious). At this time me and my 4 best friends got this idea of getting a star somewhere on our body as a sign of friendship (5 girls – the 5 points of a star). I totally wanted it but I always had one thought spinning around in my head, I said to myself: “You will get tattooed if you loose 15Kg!”. At first I kept telling myself so, but in the end I decided to get it together with my friends.
When the second desire for a tattoo popped up I began to tell myself the same story again. Actually I was just scared that I wouldn't look good enough on my chubby body and things like that. Or that if I would lose weight after it I maybe will be destroyed. Which was totally stupid cause I wanted to get tattooed at my shoulder. So if I had lost weight it wouldn't have shrink like my belly or so (my oh my I am not sure if this “If-Sentence” is correct -.- ). So now ¾ year after getting my second tattoo (an adorable cupcake on my left shoulder) I am so happy that I didn't hold back what I really wanted just because of my weight or body shape. This April it will be extended with other sweets and candy and I am sooooo excited about it. I also know what I want after I finished the muffin-candy-shoulder. A old school-rockabilly rose on my right food.

Seufz

Outfit of yesterday (OOTY ^^)

The Outfit isn't something special, but I wanted to bring attention to my new necklace. It arrived last week and I still need to show it to you. I bought it at Karamboola, a shop at Dawanda, for 13,50€. It's all worth it. Not only that I just think it's overcute it was packed so lovely: a mailer with flowerstickers on it, selfmade envelope for the nacklace, some sweets and a greeting card.

Shirt/Leggings - H&M
Belt - Evans
Dress - Selfmade

If everything works out tomorrow and I convert my 10meters of tuell into 2 beautiful skirts, there will be a tutorial for that soon.
